To be honest, Im not much of a football fan, and I have heard everyone cry about the replacement refs, but to be honest, I dont ever recall watching a game EVER, where the refs dont blow a call, and many of the bad or missed calls cost the other team the game. As a outsider...what the differance if the call is blown by a "real" ref vs a scab? A bad call is a bad call, no matter who makes it.
Team owners say they are saving several hundred thousand dollars.
If they really wanted to cover every aspect, every angle, just sit several hundred people in a room with replay cameras and review every play from every camera. Hell, they could make a app to do the job of the refs.
