Official driver rant thread

I was driving through the sub on Sunday when a kid in a new VW Jetta totally blew a stop sign and turned in front of me.. I swerved towards him as he was already narrowly avoiding being hit by me.. He stops the car, throws it in reverse like he's going to chase me down then realizes that I'm a 6'3" 265# bald guy that would have minced his scrawny little 120# punk ass.
I'm seriously thinking about getting a dash cam like they use on the other side of the pond just for incidents like these.

That's not a bad idea.

Just had a dumb ass in front of me at the left turn light at 9 and Harper. The green arrow comes up, idiot is sitting there taking pics of the burned out burger joint at the corner with her cell phone. Me and everybody else is blowing the horn, dummy starts rolling, then slams on the brakes when the arrow turns yellow, making the whole line of cars wait another light. People are so inconsiderate.

Hall road seems to be the worst. People see the line of traffic coming and they roll through stop signs like its no big deal.

People who are in the far lane and decide last minute that they need to cut across 4 lanes of traffic

Guy in the center lane doing 10 under while every other lane is doing 10 over

Soccer moms driving tanks

tailgating so close that you constantly tap your brakes and cause the next few drivers to have 45 mph panic brake pulses, causing a huge chain reaction.

People who rush through a stop sign (see first rant) to get in front of you then go well below the posted limit, causing you to miss the next green light.

This lady at Kroger was coming down the aisle and decides to make a left in the main path along the storefront. She clearly ignored the fact that there is a stop sign and she barely squeezed between the car in front of me and the other car coming the other way that were waiting at the stop sign. We both laid on our horns. I was pissed. I followed her around the parking lot to see where she was in such a hurry to go. She did a couple laps as she's talking on her phone and decides to pull in a spot. I parked right by Her and got out of my car. Unloaded my empty bottles and waited for her to get out of her car. She looked over and I just stared at her. She had this look on her face of why is this guy staring at me. She ended up sitting in her car for a half minute and then pulled out and drove away out of parking lot. Needless to say I didn't get a chance to inform her of her lack of respect for others.

I don't even want to talk about Hall Rd. :swear:
