Official College Football 2015 Thread!

Because you don't make enough money. It's science.

On a side note, the meteor never struck the ND OSU game which was the only outcome I would have been happy with. That being said, the fact that OSU screwed themselves out of the playoff while blatantly being the best team in the B1G is enjoyment enough for me.

Why you gotta start in on me?....I've pretty much played nice all year....;)

stanford is bitching, they didnt get OSU in Rose Bowl,

MSU is basically Laughing stock of the NCAA right now

I have a feeling the playoff rules will change for next year

I agree. Between FSU and MSU this year, the eye test will likely become more prevalent in the selection committees decision. It would be interesting to see if a non conference champion could be considered in the playoff. OSU was obviously the number 1 team in the B1G and I'd go so far as to say that UM was the number 2 team based on the eye test.

Should have been this lineup based on the 'eye test'

OSU vs Bama
UM vs Tenn
NW vs FL
MSU vs Stan
IA vs ND

Agreed......

Why NW vs FL? I don't get the logic there. If you are looking at a Win/Loss issue UM was clearly the better team and had a much more difficult schedule.

Because neither team had an offense. They aligned far more than UM FL or TN NW

Fucking enough already. This is about college football, not who's cack is bigger. I'm deleting all of this garbage and I'll keep deleting it so if you two want to continue take it to PM's.

Isn't that what I just said?

In other news, Michigan should have most of the same team from this year. Big question will be QB and the LB's.

Jim knows how to develop QBs. Rudock was a huge question mark coming into the year and I doubt that I've ever seen anybody steadily improve as much as he did over this past year. Harbaugh probably got the kid drafted because of this year.

Yes he does and he has quite a stable of them to choose from. Looks like Malzone is becoming a TE. O'Korn has had a year under him now so his step up shouldn't be as noticeable as Rudock's. It's still the unknown though. This team really should be a B1G Championship team and in the playoffs. We'll take a step back the year after though as we'll loose pretty much the whole team.

Jim, SCOREBOARD buddy...17-14 and it should have been 20-0

Michigan slappies...SCOREBOARD, 27-23

The only thing that matters is the final score. MSU beat Ohio State with our back up QB's. Cook never touched the ball. If Michigan so 'dominated' the game against MSU,
why didn't they win? Because maybe they didn't 'dominate' the game. They sure as hell didn't play a full 60 minutes. Yes, they laid an egg in the Cotton Bowl. If I remember
correctly, Alabama thumped Michigan 41-7 in the same stadium.

Since Dantonio arrived at MSU, he's 7-2 against Michigan and 3-4 against Ohio State. He's 2-2 against Urban Meyer. MSU is the only team (twice) to beat Ohio State since
Meyer became coach. In the time Dantonio has been at MSU, Michigan has never beaten Ohio State. Since 2010, MSU has the best record in the B1G at 65-16.

2015, MSU beat Oregon, Michigan (in Ann Arbor), an undefeated Ohio State (in Columbus and without their starting quarterback) and an undefeated Iowa. In 2016, the
Spartans play at Notre Dame (in South Bend), and Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio State at home. At worst they should be 10-2. At best, we'll see them in the playoffs
again.

In 2011, everyone said MSU was done. In 2013, everyone said MSU was done. You are saying it now. Suck it up slappies! MSU is not going away. The talent is there.
They will be competitive with everyone they play (except Alabama :bondage: ).

Can't deny that 'Bama is the current gold standard. I'm still amazed that OSU beat them last year.....

Same here. Bama really is the cream of the crop in college football. Clemson gave them a run for their money though.

It's evident after watching Clemson hang with them that MSU shouldn't have even been in the playoff. No big ten team IMO would have hung with Alabama.
