Sure....sounds like he's got a high level of commitment to the program. "Sorry guys, I'm out.....but hey, have a great season".....

I guess "The Team, The Team, The Team", left Ann Arbor when Bo did....as did just about everything else he stood for.....

ANYWAY. In other news, the expected starting running back for MSU has been suspended indefinitely from team activities after being arrested for what appears to be "Brandishing a gun" during a road rage incident. In 2012 he was charged with possession. Personally they should red shirt him through the remainder of his jail time then let him play. Kids make bad decisions.


And before you go there. I hope Glasgow gets kicked off the team. He violated his parole and that's that. We'll see how Jim handles this. It's not quite a DUI, but it is in relation to the DUI he received a year ago.

I merely said No, why would I? I didn't realize it was a speech.....My lasting impression of Bo speaking is his "I'm bitterly resentful, because we won that game" rant after OSU won the Rose Bowl bid in the early 70's. Um...No Bo, you tied OSU that year...He was colorful and passionate...I'll give him that.

I had to google this Glasgow incident. Sounds like he's in a bit of a jam, and with the other guy quitting football, he's put the team in a jam now too.
 
Should be an interesting season, I got to spend this past Friday and Saturday at Michigan for the coaching clinic and it was a great time. Practices are completely different than Brady Hoke area when I was at those. I saw three interceptions thrown total during live play and all were by Shane Morris and Peppers had two of them.

Meanwhile, a Michigan player forgoes his final season of eligibility to focus on academics and his future and somehow that's something to turn into a negative?

Cardale's tweet is old news.....An unfortunate lapse in judgment by a young man who probably should have known better. Or to put it perspective for you UM numbers guys, UM hasn't beaten OSU since that incident...Yup, it's been that long.

As for your guy quitting on his team, that's between him and your hero. I'm sure there's a backstory, but really, who cares? It's not a negative, it's a reality.

While your other demigod boasted, "Those who stay will be champions".....(Just not National Champions)....I can't find any reference Bo made about those who left? Guess he didn't care either....:dunno:
 
Speaking of numbers, just to put things in perspective for the leather helmet era UM fan(atic)s here, in 65+ years, all UM has been able to muster is (1) co-championship, while OSU has won (7) in the same time span.

Oh...btw, MSU shows (6) since 1950.

Hell, that'd make me cranky and irritable too....;)
 
Me personally... RJ Williamson should be dismissed permanently. Guns and road rage don't mix. MSU doesn't need another Winston.

Well, of course you'd start your timetable in 1950, as Michigan won NCs in '47 and '48... right? That was a randomly convenient random year to start counting, I'm sure. And if you're making leather helmet comments... MSU's last was in 1966. So yeah, it's been 50 years for them.

Enjoy your sunshine Jimbo... you're just another Maurice Clarrett/Tyrell Pryor/Jim Tressel/etc/etc away from Shameville again. You know it's a ticking timebomb with Urban at the helm.

The 1950 is when Michigan State joined the B1G. As for leather helmets, I'd check out some of those pictures from the 1950's and 1960's. No leather helmets. Now the 50 years since 1966...A lot of dark in the wilderness. Hollis and Dantonio are enjoying the fruits of their labor. Will it get us a another National Championship? Who knows...? But it's nice just having them in the conversation. At least UM leads the nation in QB's...
 
Admittedly I am enjoying my squads success....If UM were the NC's, you guys would be too....

Wouldn't matter. He's not going to be starting in September anyways. It wouldn't matter if he was the starting quarterback. Delton Williams has anger management issues. He should take them to Wayne State or Saginaw Valley...
