Justin is in the mood to do whatever it takes to replace Lloyd. even though Lloyd will never come back, Justin would rather see UM fail than not have Lloyd as the coach. Hence the reason he changed his tune about how this recruit leaving is a bad thing and he kept telling me that Brandon not making an announcement on Rod's job doesn't matter because no recruiting will be affected.

Old news. That article was from 10/06. I think RichRod should have his contract extended another five years and given a $1M pay raise. He's doing a great job...

I don't think he should be given an extension, what I think is that if they are going to fire him, do it. I'm ok with it. he's not done as well as I hoped and I feel like if he can be replaced with something better then let's go.
What I am not ok with is Brandon waiting till a week or two after the bowl game and making an announcement that I've decided to let Rich Rodriguez go because he listens to gay music and has essentially turned our Defense into something the Detroit Lions make jokes about. We're now going to start out search for a coach. He have a good idea as to who we want here, but we want to make sure he's the right fit. If he does that, the game is over. We'll be dead in the water for at least another 3 years if not much longer.

i'm a big 10 fan at this point. i hope the conference is well represented this year. with the addition of nebraska next year, our street credits just went up. however, just like when psu came in, nebraska will find it's tougher than they think to win the big 10. i predict at least 2 losses in the conference their first year.....and one will be to um.....
