Sparty's coming back to Florida. Hollis and Dantonio did their best, but MSU didn't get the BCS bid (no surprise). MSU will play Alabama on January 1st in Orlando at the Citrus Bowl. I'll have to see how much tickets are...
 
on The TCU Big East/Big 12 thing. Big 12 didn't want them. In the Big 12 TCU isn't creating a bigger market and is therefore just taking a piece of the existing pie. In the Big East TCU gets the Big East into Texas, helps Big East recruiting, expands Big East footprint/market. The piece of the pie TCU takes from the Big East is smaller than what they give the Big East. Plus as was said, as far as football goes TCU is a big fish in a very small pond.

Touted running back prospect Demetrius Hart might not be picking Michigan after all.

The Orlando Sentinel says the recruit is leaning toward Alabama and might not even wait until his scheduled news conference Friday to announce. Here's a snippet of the Sentinel's story:

Canceling at this point would mean the Crimson Tide have a new commitment to the class of 2011. Of course, there are still 117 days before Feb. 2, National Signing Day and commitments, at this point, are hardly binding for any prospect.

I thought you said no recruiting happened right now? And now you know why I said Brandon needs to Shit or get off the pot. if Rich Rod is here, the uncertainty surrounding him is going to kill his chances for another good year. I'm beginning to wonder if anyone at UM has any common sense.
