Official 2010 Michigan State Football thread

I was never a hater of OSU. I always hated Michigan & Notre Dame. The only time I have a reason to be an OSU hater is just Ohio State week.

And then Sparty can sit back and reflect that they lucked out a few years on not playing them. Otherwise you would have been 5-7 last year lol.

Not necessarily. With Ohio State comes Indiana. And Wisconsin (L) would have dropped from the schedule. And without Indiana, Michigan would have been 4-8. Enjoy the toilet bowl...

BCS bowls are pretty much the only ones that really matter. And since you aren't going to one...yours is about as meaningful as the Insight bowl.

i wouldn't say that. the cap one bowl is a pretty big deal, and i think us getting a shot at saban is even better. :D

bama state will be a good game if sparty plays up to their potential they can Win, for some reason bama has been great at fucking the tree this year

There are no great SEC teams, and that includes Auburn. Very possible that MSU plays South Carolina or Arkansas. Playing any of those three teams (including Alabama) will depend on MSU being prepared instead of waiting for the second half. As for the players getting up for Saban, they weren't even old enough to remember him at MSU. It means something to the older fans and maybe the coaches (Dantonio was a Saban assist at MSU).

no great sec teams? really 5 of the last 7 championships say different , state will play bama Auburn is the odds favorite for the NC(man it hurt to type that)

I'm saying there are no great teams this year. Auburn isn't as good as Alabama was last year or Florida before that. They've played well and they are 12-0, but they are no sure thing against South Carolina. Their defense isn't that great and their offense reminds me of Michigan's 'One Trick Pony' offense. I think TCU is better (along with Oregon). Just my opinion.

Oregon and TCU will be yhe BCS Championship. Alabama, Auburn or SC and LSU could get picked for a second SEC BCS team. Most likely either Auburn or LSU as 1 loss teams.

if auburn beats sc they are in a one loss auburn team will get in before TCU , now that TCU is headed to the big east they will be in the next time they go undefeated

Oregon vs TCU will be a blow out, I honestly do not think TCU could keep pace with Oregon's offence. Oregon vs. Auburn should be a great game, high scoring shootout.
