Official 2010 Michigan State Football thread

It's another season for the Green & White. Even with the easy schedule, I'm back to looking for improvement. This is a team that should be an 8-10 win team. The talent is better, the depth is better and they don't play outside the State of Michigan until Week 7.

Wisconsin and Iowa have senior QB's and MSU has never won in Happy Valley. While they also have the potential to beat all three, they also have the potential to lose again Northwestern & Purdue. I still see a 9-3 season. Go Sparty's!

I think if they stay healthy they can beat PSU as penn state will have 1-2 losses at that point and you should change this to a smack talking thread cause all the mich fans will be here soon

I hope not. I wasn't going to rip on UM until the week of UM-MSU. Why kick someone when they are down? They have enough to worry about with UConn.

That is a very easy season. hell, I think that's easier than UM's. Didn't think that was possible unless you played in the SEC.

It is a VERY easy season. And we may get by PSU. But as mentioned, they have a habit of blowing a game or two they shouldn't. It could be UM, Northwestern or Purdue. I'm most worried about the Northwestern game. These aren't the Wildcats of my youth (0-11, 1-10, 2-9).

I think they've already got past that. The problem as been playing UW, Iowa, or OSU in October. With us not playing OSU this year, I'd be extremely happy with a split of the UW & Iowa games.

And yes, BH having the BTN is great. I keep it until March (basketball & hockey), and then have them turn it off. I don't think the Spartans will be on BTN until they play NCU during week four. The Western game, FAU and ND games are supposed to beat national/regional games on ABC or ESPN/ESPN 2. By the way, if you get NHL Center Ice, you'll also get MLB extra innings in April. The BH people get lazy. Unless you give them a reason to check your account, they just leave the channels on. NHL C/I and MLB Extra Innings use the same channels.

The Bucs suck. I'm going to see about tickets for the Lions game. On want on that Pirate ship. LOL! I'm just pissed they don't have NFL network. Unless I go to the bar, I can't see the Thursday games.

Today is the Al Bundy Holiday. For 12 hours, from 11AM until 11PM, I'll be on my couch with one hand on the remote and the other in my waistband with large nachos and cold beverages close by. All hail Al Bundy!!!

No matter who lost it was a good day. I can't stand either team but I'm glad the big 10 got another win. Apparently Iowa isn't too interested in keeping with the rest of the big ten.
