[OFFICAL] Forza 3 Picture Thread

Anyone want to help point me in the right direction as to how to tune my 79 Z28 for the 1/4? For the life of me I cannot get it to hook. I've played with tire pressure, and softening/stiffening springs. I want to get the wheels up on launch. FYI, it has the 6.2 v8 from the 2010 Camaro in it, cage, and lightened. Anyone?

I'm not sure any wheels up pictures are ever really on the launch, I think they're all done with braking and going and making the car bounce to get the front end up. But I've never played with the drag racing to know for sure. that's the impression that I get though.

the car will never hook up. The drag racing in the game is garbage. short of an AWD swap (if its available) the car will never hook up. no matter what the tune.

this is the closest to wheels up from a legit launch you will ever see.
However its not really legit since the rear ride height is set to min and the front ride height is set to max and the spring rate is min and shocks and sway bars turned off. Basically the car is tuned to take thsi picture.

yes this i my pix:

get ready for rally car night (Evo, WRX, RS200, Fiesta).. I'll be on later tonight (11ish) with an S class rally car. Keep it under S-Class and we should be in for some fun runs.. like on the Italy twisty track and a few high speed blasting tracks.

I'm stuck in Alabama...so not tonight for me.

I'm in for a future rally car night. I have an S class Fiesta that absolutely sucks to drive and an S class RS200 that seems like a ringer for a rally car night. I ran both in the S class heat races on fujimi Kaido. The Fiesta was obsolutely terrible but the RS200 was scoring me awesome segment times.

we ran rally night last night.

we have two levels, Unlimited (aka Group B) and WRC

Group B is anything goes, new or old.

WRC is modern only 305HP (WRC is limited to 300hp but some subarus are 305 stock so we had to up it to 305) 4wd past that anything goes

The Fiesta might actually be good knocked back to 305 HP. The RS200 is easy to make unlimited, I've already bought every part for it at one point.

The other night I discovered something fairly ridiculous is actually kind of fun to drive for what it is. F class Lotus Elan. As far as F class cars go that is win.

except it doesnt run in WRC so it doesnt work. It runs in J-WRC which is FWD and like 225hp...........................

I didn't realize your WRC definition was strictly limited to actual WRC cars since I wasn't aware of any new Subarus actually running in WRC, although you know I don't follow it that close and don't know what privateers are running. The Focus RS is really probably better anyway. Something about the high HP Fiesta definitely wasn't good to drive. I don't know at what point it would become good to drive.

The RS200 though, oh man that is sweet to drive as S700. I was able to get clean segments in with it even in some of my heats. Able to break away from RWD cars fast enough to avoid draft penalty. Ended up with some pretty solid leaderboard times.

I knew there were still privateer cars but I had just assumed them to be year or two old cars rather than current cars as a result of that.
