[OFFICAL] Forza 3 Picture Thread

I just ran the F class endurance race without pitting. Don't use the 2nd gen Camaro for that. I busted off what I thought was a bad ass lap (based on how it felt in the car) and I'm only in the top 11%, car is SLOW. It was a new car going into the race and it's level 5 afterward though :lol:

Shaun is downloading the paint jobs from store fronts. From what I've seen most paints are pretty cheap there.
 
Damn, did the E class endurance race with no pit stop too. What's with this game? I wasn't even close to needing tires in either race and had enough gas for a few more laps in this one.
 
R3 Endurance race + Mazda R1 car + Hired driver = $85,000 after driver took his cut! The hired driver won. This car works great because it is easy to drive, the computer struggles more with hard to drive cars so this car is perfect.

You do have to touch your controller every 7 laps or so, when the controller shuts off it still pauses the game. Still lets you make some bank while you do things like shower, brush your teeth, set your fantasy line up, eat, etc. even though you can't just tell it drive and leave or go to bed.

Is there a setting to make your controller not auto turn off somewhere?

my driver is smoking everyone in the FXX. 1.59:6 laptimes
 
Damn! I should be using the FXX in some of these races then, my computer driver runs slower laps than I do and my best lap in the Mazda on Road America is a 1:59. And the brilliant idea of plugging in my controller works too. :lol: de de deee

One of the things they added to the new game is a storefront where you can purchase car designs, or graphics. in the old game you had to buy entire cars in the auction house to get some of the designs.
 
I just got a GT40 :) I ran the R2 endurance at new lemans, now i hired a driver to run it again...don't put a hired driver in a Veyron at LeMans :lol: It has no idea what to do when a car starts doing 220+. It always misses the chicanes and I've seen it clobber a wall too. It isn't pretty.
 
Okay, here's a new idea... Let's do a LEMONS race....


$20,000 budget, anything goes..... Maybe require a screen shot of the cars info to prove it has no more than $20,000 invested in it, including purchase... Then do an endurance race with them on a really tiny track :D

Can the auction house be used?
 
Quick easy paint job for the GT40. The 1966 LeMans winning paint job. I'm going to do the 2nd and 3rd paint jobs so when others get this car we can recreate the LeMans finish photo. I started the third place car already. Planning on doing the '67, '68' and '69 winners as well but this was the easiest one.
