Good luck too you!! I'm heading up to the U.P Next Tuesday for a week. What I don't understand is I can shoot deer out my kitchen window yet I go to the U.P in search of the 30 point buck LOL
 
put a scope on the AK-12 and sighted her in yesterday, she put 5 slugs within about a 2 inch circle at 50 yds. and if the deer starts running, ive got my red dot as backup

heading up next thursday evening staying to sunday maybe monday, coming home for thanksgiving then heading back up after dinner. I hunt 215 acres in Hillman . decided to replace the .300 win mag remington 710 i been using last few years. picked up a Ruger M77 Mark II in .308 monday night

Yup, Ive got a drum, but its too heavy to ever really use.

I actually converted this one myself...Im bringing both this one and my restored M1 Garand up north with me. I dunno if ill use the rifle or not. I prefer to use the shotgun under 100 yds, but the M1 is deadly out to about 300
 
Looking to be an unseasonably warm opening weekend. We'll be up around Houghton Lake for the first few days of the season.
