can any one reccomend a scanner that can be bought locally? harbor freight, autozone... not looking for an expensive snapon brand.
Grab a bluetooth OBDII scanner and the Torque app if you're on Android. Works very well. Should cost ~$30 for everything.
x3.. it does a lot more than the parts store specials and it's just a step down from a Mac or Snap on. It does data logging as well. Can't go wrong for $30.What he said, the app will do what you need. I have been using Torque for over a year now with a scanner off Amazon, never let me down so far.
I have a Bluepoint Scanner that cost about $100. It works ok and data logs.
I want to try the bluetooth app though
Ive got a modus, but I feel like an easy code scan its troublesome lol.
Will torque read 4wd codes on a 03 trailblazer?
