The presidents limo has always been a cadillac (since the 50's I believe).

A new presidential limo is built every 4 years for every president. The previous limos are passed down to other politicians.

I always wondered how big of a beating those presidential limos could take. They won't release that info though (for obvious reasons). But it would be cool to take an older one out to a gravel pit or something and see what kind of actual damage you could do to it.

But since about the 50s, it has been either Lincoln or Cadillac.

every president gets his own limo and they spend millions to completely remodel air force 1 for him also

I forgot the name of the company that takes all of the presidential vehicles and converts them into the Bomb Proof/High Caliber Bullet Proof rides that they are. Same company that Blackwater uses for their SUV's. When its all said and done the vehicle ends up weighing either double or triple its weight as a standard vehicle.
