Now that the Kodi add-ons are on their way out...

We have Terrarium TV https://terrariumtv.com/

I'm going to mess with this later on and side load it on my Shields, sounds great from what I've read about it so far. Works with Android devices, so it should work with any Android TV, phone, or tablet.

This won't work on anything that doesn't run Android. If you want a set-top box, your options are a Nvidia Shield TV, Firestick, or Xaomi Mi Box.

I just did this on my firestick a few months ago.
I guess I won't miss it cuz I don't watch more than 2 -3 hours of tv a month.

What you have now will still work for a bit, but the repositories for the add-ons are no longer working. This means that in the future, any new links to content won't be added as the others are taken offline. In the past, as content links were taken down, new ones would pop up and would be updated accordingly in the repositories.

I put Kodi on my FireStick but really didn't use it much. We do use it for Amazon Prime video enough that it's worth it just for what it's supposed to do.

Is Terrarium TV Legal?

According to the official Terrarium TV Website, the application is not illegal. Their Website states “Terrarium TV uses streaming technology instead of torrenting (P2P).”

TROYPOINT strongly suggests using a VPN (virtual private network) when using services such as Terrarium TV. Due to the change in privacy laws, your Internet streaming logs can be shared or sold to 3rd parties without your consent. Also, without a VPN service, your Internet Service Provider can log and monitor everything that you download or stream, which may lead to copyright infringement issues.

Niiice!

no, a vpn is a service that offers private networking. You use them, then go the internet or torrent sites, etc... Say you use a vpn, and want to use the free open unsecure airport wifi , you can do it safely because your actually using the vpn for internet, not the airport. Your simply using the wifi to connect to the vpn, but afterwards the vpn secures and encrypts your data.

Okay, makes sense. Thanks!

Is this tied to the lawsuit? I'm not aware of Kodi add-ons going away.
