this is why i hate tracks with guardrails

I was watching a thread over on YB a couple of years ago and they got on guard rails vs concert barriers. Seemed like the majority of the guys, agreed that guard rails were better. They said that because the guard rails give there tends to be less injuries. Makes sense to me. I'd rather hit something with give as apposed to something solid.

A guardrail will send you in the air or into the crowd. Very dangerous in my opinion. A concrete wall will keep you between the walls 9 times out of 10 you wont go over them. You can ride a wall but the rail will give away.

I've seen cars go over the wall.

I haven't owned a race car since the 80's, so I don't have a good opinion on it.
The times I run now I don't have to worry about it..I can't go fast enough.:D
 
i dont understand why anyone with a car that serious would race on atrack like that. It didnt even have a gaurdrail on one side!!!

I can undertand a 17sec ond civic on that but why a car like that, doesnt make sense to me, think of how much $$$$$ it will take to rebuild/replace that car. A lot more then driving HOURS to go to a better track
