***Norwalk results thread***

Some people did very well but I wasn't one of them. The only thing I have to brag about is a new PB trap speed of 99.6 mph. My car definitely didn't like the 3000 ft DA and I didn't beat on it because there was no chance of a PB on a day like today.

I'll let those that ran well speak for themselves. I just figured I bore you with the summary of how my boring, slow car ran. :P

A slow day at the track is better than a day at work. ;)

It was very hot for sept but the track hooked like a MOFO in the morning. I have never seen such a high percentage of fast cars at a track rental. motown muscle, youre club is bad ass. I ran a personal best today. after countless 10.0x passes I finally had my first 9 second pass. thanks again and I look forward to going to another rental. wait untill Tom Kemp posts up WOW

The Buick ran OK. Ran 12.60's at 15lbs of boost (which ain't shit).

Lost 2 pieces of windshield molding at 110mph on my last run. One of them smacked the middle of the windshield and scared the shit out of me, but no damage.

Also I have the worlds worst tan line. Right across the center of my forehead from wearing a bandanna all day in the sun.

Looks like I will be wearing a hat for a while.

It was a good day. I can't count the number of times I stepped out of my shoes up around the starting line. :)

There were quiet a few PBs out there today. I'll let those folks chime in as they get home. There should be some fun videos floating around too.

The selections ran from mid 7s and up today. The fastest and impressive collection todate out at an MM event.

Thanks to everyone that made it out and we'll get the rest of you out again soon... like Tuesday at Milan for Stenod/Varsity. :D

Well work is done here and I'm heading home. :bigthumb:

maybe he will taka picture of it, it is funny. and its not a slight tan either its a slight burn.

9.79 and 9.84 :)
Not bad for a pump gas penis extender.

The 7s was from Ross Smith in his Willys Part Deux.

It was good to see some of the old school Mopar clan out there today.

I suceeded in stripping the rubber off the track on every launch. yay!

Ran big blue again in brackets, and lost to Dave in the finals cause I got caught sleeping even though I went .30 on a .29 dial. Ohwell, a blast as usual!

What did it run?
More importantly what were your 60s like today?

1.66, 11.81

Played with the suspension all day, didn't make any difference. Its hard to experiment with things when the constant doesn't stay constant (track and weather). So not sure where to go from here lol.

But I do know one thing, it needs more tire!

You are still on your 15x8 right?

That isn't to bad, 60 foot is good. You play with the fuel or timing at all? I'd say you still have more in it, but what do I know.
