Damn Unlimited street looks alittle out of my range.

:mmm: Hot diddy mow's and being the slow guy in the class? I could live with that.

Like anyone on Xceed knows or cares anything about actual racing :stupid:

Just show up and run - you never know if 2 or 15 cars will show up at these events.

The NOPI events are actually really cool and their TV coverage does them HUGE injustices. It is really easy to avoid the whole car show jackass crowd. There are real race teams that show up and with a lot of cool shit. For the most part, the car show crowd completely ignores and avoids the drag crowd at the events I've been to. It works out well.

I have a feeling there is going to be a huge turnout at this event. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the Chevy sponsored cars show up that normally just run the NHRA races. Lots of them showed last year at Norwalk. I suspect the people who pull any of the sponsorship money would encourage them to show up at the race in their back yard.

I'll be running pro 4-cylinder, gunning for mid-8's. The battle is also on for 6's in Pro FWD.

Cool. I just might.

Are the FWD cars really that close to 6's? It was only what, 3 years ago that it was a big deal they hit 7's! Kind of off topic, a couple years ago they were talking about pro mods trying to hit the 5's, that ever happen?
