no spark or fuel

Try the camshaft position sensor, they are $42.99 at autozone if it doesnt help take it back if they say thay can not return an electrical part tell them it was the wrong one and they should return it just keep it clean;) normally you try crank sen, cam sen, then the ecu my guess would be with the cam sensor
 
you dont always get a code, cam sensor on my jimmy went bad truck wouldnt start replaced it fired right up. some cars will run and just miss and stall but if the cam sensor is totally failed it wont start, if the ecu does not get a signal from the cam sensor it will shut off the fuel and spark. this should help he is holding a new one and the old one is still in the block

the jimmy/s10/s15 truck cannot run without a CMP becuase they have a symetrical CKP ring. The ECU cannot decode which pair of cylinders is up so it will not make spark or fuel. However the LS! wheel has 24 teeth and it can decode pairs. In the event of a CMP failure the Ls1 will revert to wastefire and bank to bank operation until the problem is resolved. It will run like total dogshit but it will run.
