No oil pressure

Changed the oil on my '02 Explorer with a 4.6 and now it has no oil pressure according to the gauge. Used 5w-30 like always and its right on full. No leaks at all. Since the problem I have changed the oil filter and made no difference. If you feel the filter its hot (getting oil). You'd think if it truly had NO oil pressure after about 10 seconds the rockers would be "ticking" like crazy. The old filter didn't want to come off so I had to unbolt the PS reservoir and go in from the top with the band wrench. Where is the oil pressure sensors on these pigs? Thats all I can think of because its not leaking, filter is obviously getting oil, and nothing is "ticking"

Any ideas? All I can think of it that I put a busted the oil pressure sensor but I have no idea where it is to check it out.

Thanks
Tom

Thanks for the help guys. I figured it was the sensor but I couldnt see it. It was hidden behind the front diff and PS rack way behind the filter. The connector was good but the wire was pinched. No idea how that happened but it did. I wiggled the wire and it started working but I figured do it right and cut out the damaged section, use a heat shrink connector, and call it a day. Took like 10 minutes to fix. Thanks again!
