No injector pulse on passenger bank of ls1

I am doing a front mount tubo build on my 2004 GTO. After getting all the hot and cold side fabed up, I fire it up and I am getting no power from 2, 4, 6, or 8 cylinders. I check spark and it is firing all cylinders. Then I check voltage to the injectors and they have a full 12 volts to them. I can pull all 4 injector plugs and the engine does not change how it runs. This tells me that there is no signal coming from the ecu. Just a note, I do not have the oxygen sensors connected. Any ideas?

grounds on the back of the heads?
edit. never worked on a gto but all the others have grounds on the heads. what all did you have apart. check the pulse with a noid light?

if you were welding pipes on the car ,and didnt have a sufficient ground it can really screw things up,electricity takes the easiest
path
put the test light on the positive side of the battery and probe the other injector wire it should flash ground while its running,
if not either the ecu is burnt up ,or theres a cut wire (it would have to be all four wires cut) prolly smoked the ecu
normally the ecu pulses a ground signal and the positive side runs to fusebox+terminal

I never removed any wiring on the car, Just the battery was removed. I checked all the grounds just to be sure and found no bad connections. Thanks for the help.

I was thinking I smoked the ECU by welding on the car, but I had the battery out of the car at the time. Also could it have just killed the one bank of injector drivers? The car still runs on the drivers side bank of cylinders. everything still seems to be working except the #2,4,6, and 8 injectors. Maybe I will look for another ECU. Thanks for the help.

Yes it could, I had a similar thing happen on my GTO. I think it also killed the passenger side.

You may already know this and I may be wrong (I am sure someone can correct me if I am) but you will probably need a Tech2 to program the new ECU, you are also probably going to need a small security card that came with the car in order to get it to program.

That sucks if that is the problem, but I am thinking it is.

I just checked the injectors with a noid light and all are working. Maybe due not having any O2 sensors, the car is just running this bad. I will try and get back at it in the next couple days. Thanks for the replies.
