NMRA/NMCA All-American Nationals Moves to US 131 Motorsports Park August 27-30, 2020
The NMRA/NMCA All-American Nationals will be contested at US 131 Motorsports Park (Martin, MI) over the weekend of August 27-30, 2020. The change in venue…

Anybody and everybody... get out and run True Street on Saturday. It's a good time, camp out and watch the big boys run Sunday.

I see they moved the Superbowl Chicago race down to St. Louis?

"Enjoy Your Gen III HEMI for Free with NMCA!"

"Enjoy Your LS or LT Powered Vehicle Free at NMCA National Events…Courtesy of Chevrolet Performance!"

That's awesome. Before I submit an entry form for entry under Chevrolet Performance, I need to make sure I can make it. My car is pretty much stock though.

This is a departure from Norwalk. It was scheduled for Norwalk like usual for that weekend. I hope it stays here. Go play golden! They might even give you entry to open compon Sunday if you are up for 2 days of fun.

It's a quick ordeal. You get to race at the same event as the pros but you are in and out in 3-5 hours. If you want to play the game, you try to run an average of 9.0, 10.0, 11.0, 12.0, 13.0,14.0 and get your money back. Lots of competition in the 11,12,13 second zone.

The schedule is a bit confusing.

I’ve never made a pass in my car. If I do this, what do you recommend I bring with me? This sounds like a riot, but I’m also afraid of breaking something and being a few hours from home.

A helmet. Insurance and registration. They will provide a few sponsor stickers that you are required to put on. Unstick them a bit before applying unless you want them forever. Haha

Never had a problem with that....invest in a premium Auto Club Membership....one long distance tow and your already way ahead of the game.

60k LS F Bodies that are mostly stock don't break.

My 99 TA had 110m on it when I got it and 125m when I sold it and saw mostly track duty running 13.5 when I got it and 12.2 when I sold it.

I did a triple disc 3600 converter with over 115 miles and made over 300 passes without breaking it ;)

NMCA used to run at Mid Michigan. 200+mph cars with that tiny shutdown area! It's sketchy slowing down a 100mph car there!

They chose the better track for a national event. Milan is a shit hole.

I think we did a Martin rental for Motown like 15 years ago. That place was pretty awesome. I remember Don Trandell doing wheelies in the pits with his crazy golf cart...

I go to Martin every year for the Super Sled Shootout and it's a blast. Besides the sleds and bikes it's regular testing on Friday night so I take the car along and make a few passes. Great party Saturday night too. Jay and his crew to a great job and it is a first class facility. Keep in mind if all goes well Drag Week starts and ends there on Sept 14th & 18th.

Going to make every effort to get to the NMRA/NMCA event and run the True Street class. Camp in the pits all weekend and play with the car on Saturday and watch some really good racing. Sounds like fun.

Yes, that was a great rental day with the bracket and run what you brung classes. The TA made 10 hot lap passes with Phil and I rotating in the 10.1-10.2s range. I think there was one race with someone asleep at the tree too. :)

Seems to me I remember a beater race involving an escort and another car too. :)
