Nitto NT05R or BFG Drag Radial?

We have ran the nitto 555R on my brothers mark viii for a while, its a nice tire that hooks up, and can still be driven a little bit in the rain.

NT555R

The NT01R is a great tire, BUT, you lose comfort and rain capabilities compared to the 555R.

I've run them. The NT555 is also a great tire for the fronts - just obviously not in radial form. Very responsive and gives great feedback.

I've had the NT05 drag radial on my car for a couple years. It seems to hook well, better then the 555r's. No complaints.

How about michelin pilot super sports as a real good street tire vs the nitto nt05?

Bfg drag radials suck they wear very fast compared to a nitto or m/t and dont hook as good!

huh? 8 years ago nmra dr racers were going bottom 8's on a bfg dr. im guessing its operator error.

I put some M&H dr's on my car, so far I like them traction is good/ok and life/wear is good, going on two summers now.
Also I recently broke down and spent a chunk on a full suspension that's when I really noticed the car hooking up.
I think some people tend to rely on a dr to much when they only have a factory or a slightly modified suspension.
