Yep lol. Game Stop bought them while ago, so I call them Funco Stop. Only us old goats get the reference lol

Actually it was called Funcoland :). I used to work at the one at Hoover 11 location part time during college in the mid 90s. Good times playing games that I didn’t have to buy. Haha.

I know that, I just call Game Stop Funco Stop because it used to be Funcoland :)
 
Its funny, I call the store in Southfield and the electronics answer the phone "Electronics department, we're out of the SNES CLASSIC"....lol

It was a game store chain in the 80s, 90s, and early 00s. Game Stop bought them like 15 years ago.

I remember one by us in Grand Rapids but I don't think it was originally a FuncoLand. I can't remember what it was before/after, it never actually turned into a GameStop they closed it. I also remember Babbages.
