Uuuhhhhh.......

WHO....locally can check a 9" rear axle housing to see if the tubes are still
straight.....I MAY have gotten the axle tube's a "little" hot while doing some work.....:banghead:

Even if I didn't....it's 40+ years old.....:w00t:...

Thanks....

Ya....

I spoke to them on the phone this morning & they told me it would cost
$100.00 to put my empty housing in thier fixture to check it out!

I was hoping I would not have to ship it out to anyone....ThankX!

That is worth it to me!!!!

While I had this dude on the phone...just for S-n-G's....I asked about
settin' up my center section with all MY new parts...$150.00 labor.

Not too bad...Holbrook wants $200.00 to do the center section so these prices seem fair....

Someone....a neighbor I think....reccommended transmission shops...got
$4-$500.00 for the center section for them dudes.....I don't think so.

Anyway....thanks for the info......

My '56 Effie is a long time away from bein' on the road....but ya know how
it is....I'm starting at the rear of the truck with the Franken-Nine and workin' my way forward....

Still a F'n newbie here so still tryin' to figure "this" site out....
