Nice 8' Brunswick pool table

Pretty good shape. Normal green felt. Ball return, no missing balls, have a few cues, 2 brushes, and a bridge.

Its currently in the basement, so it will need to be disassembled in order to be removed. I assume it to be a 3-piece slate.


Now down to $500. No dibs. First-come, first-served based on payment.

Please don't post pictures of other pool tables in this For Sale thread.

Its already been on Craigslist there for some time (search for Brunswick and you'd have seen it), as well as 6 other boards.

May consider trades for nice firearms (no hunting rifles, please) or a healthy SBC for my 1987 TBI Suburban. If you're going to throw a motor at me, unfinished builds may also be considered, but it needs to be a configuration that would be decently strong, as the Suburban is my hauler and tow rig.
 
Its been a long time, but the pool table is still available. A number of people have come to see it, but the task of moving it always seems to be the deal breaker.

Now reduced to $600.
 
There are moving companies around the Metro area that can handle this - some specializing in only this, as well. I would imagine that they would have the process pretty streamlined. It might be worth the $.
 
ive moved a couple...they arent hard to do. as long as it is three piece slate a little finish body filler, a level, and some spray adhesive are just about all you need

Yeah if it's 3 piece slate, it's not too hard to move. Just disassemble, and re-assemble at new location. Filler putty to keep it smooth between the the slate sections and reapply the felt. I moved one from college twice. And the worst part is the heavy freaking slate. :lol:
 
Don't use body filler use bee's wax between the seams and do not use spray adhesive on the felt. it easy to staple the felt to the slate frame. Also if you can find a machinist level, that works the best.

I set up mine not to long ago and had some long conversations with the installer from Pro Billiards.
 
damn i wish i had the coin to buy this for my dad... he loves pool but never could find a good deal on a table for our basement
 
Would really like to find someplace for this to go and be used before the end of August. After that, it'll be about a year before it will be available again.


Be sure to contact Rat about moving it. he has a hook-up.
