Newcomer to the Group

Hey Frank! Welcome over here. I used to work with Frank at my old company guys. You may notice my car in that one group pic from the Show-n-Shine Fridays I used to organize there. ;)

Hope you can make it out to some of our gatherings and hang out with everyone. We have a lot of nice people to talk to & hang out with.
 
Welcome - we always need new f-body blood!

You know, GM in Warren is hiring tons of contract engineers right now. They can't even find enough people in a lot of commodities. If you are looking, I would give one of the big houses a call and see what they have.

I keep hearing that but my contacts at Aerotek, Bartech, CSM, etc are not getting replies back. So I don't know what the hell is going on over there. Chrysler seems the same way too. I had an interview there over two weeks ago and the contact house has be bugging the manager for feedback on the canidates they sent. I think they are being to picky. I was at GM Powertrain for 3 months in Supplier Quality before they just booted me for no reason! If you have a contact that will interview me I will certainly talk with them now and I can start in one second if they need people.

I just know that most of the slots are contract, unless you have a specific experience or skill that they are looking for. They are hiring direct too.
