a guy on mustangforums.com told me about this 50s McDonalds on Michigan Ave close to telegraph is where a lot of hotrods and nice cars meet up on weekends. I don't have many details because I've never gone, but I plan to this summer. I'll post more details as I get them and let MM know whenever I do go.
