I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff. I've been DDing it for 3+ summers now and it's only left me hanging once.......because of a failed harmonic balancer that only had 3K on it. Not bad for DSM I suppose. Quick underhood pic...the IC piping has since been powdercoated.

LOL! I only call it that because it's been whored around 4-5 different Xceeders before I got it Nov 06. My daughters complain about both of my cars..."too hot, too loud, make you drive crazy, why do they all have to be turbos, blah blah blah". They like the wifes cushy Mariner. I plan on getting rid of it later this year anyways when the mom in law gives me her (gasp!!) minivan.

Meh....I gotta admit that I tend to lean more towards the bow-tie. Deep down inside I yearn for an FD RX-7 (love the lines of this car!) with an LS-1 swap.....maybe throw in some boost for safe measure.

He mentioned how he knows your family from his job. We ended up figuring it out right after the SLC drag day last season. Zak had been in that day and had mentioned going to Milan later on and he knew I was going there too.
Have you been going there for your back problems? I hear that place is the bomb for physical therapy. Unfortunately they don't take my insurance, so I can't go there for my F'd up ribs :thumbsdow:

I'm gonna go to the Milan rental on the 28th to watch/shoot video......no racing for me till I get a better clutch. Are you going to bring the Mopar out and test the new setup?
I'm yet to make it out to WW.....family life and work owns me right now. The wife and kids are going away next weekend so I'll be out for sure one of the nights. There's a slight chance I may come out tomorrow night if I don't party like a rock star at a graduation party/boat races on Walled Lake.

I might make it out to watch on the 28th. Money is going to be a little tight that week, since I am supposed to go to the Tail of The Dragon the 20th-25th. We had the car out this last Wednesday and it went faster this year than last year. I can't wait for fall to get here so we can make some cool weather passes and see what she can really do!

What did it do?
I thought about going down to the Dragon that weekend since the wife and kids are going to Tennessee anyways, but the expense of the whole trip steered me away. I'm hoping to make it down there in the fall, but before the "color tours" start. My wife's aunt and uncle live about 80 miles from the Dragon (near Gatlinburg actually) and it gets crazy down there in the fall.
I'll keep an eye out for ya on the 28th.

I've been known to machine a few things here and there!
A lil' sampling of some things I've fabbed/'machined......
Refinishing the lips on my wheels...they were rashed bad when I got them.
Some brackets for my IC setup.
Catch can & bracket--aluminum with hardcoat anodize finish
T cable bracket....saved me from having to buy a non-cruise cable by using the cruise cable!
Modded rear upper control arms for the DSM.
Some stuff on the boss' replica Cobra.
Remachined the shoddy torch cut 4 link brackets on Alex's LS-1 240.
I don't have many pics right now, but I've done a ton of parts for the other boss' 42 Willys kit. I've done the alum. dash, hood hinges, nitrous plates, modded some drive by wire TBs into electric exhaust cutouts, blower pulley, and a bunch of other misc stuff.
Some other random fun stuff we work with for the balancing industry.

Originally, I was thinking I need some kind of shroud to put in front of my radiator to force more air through it. Any suggestions?

I think I need to talk my boss into doing a short production run of these! I've had tons of people inquire into getting one.
As far as the shroud, I would probably use some cardboard to make a template and then cut them out of .03-.06" aluminum sheet. I know a place in Livonia the does great sheet metal cutting/bending if you're interested. Here's what a lot of DSM guys do between their FMIC and radiator.....obviously this is still being mocked up.
