Hey guys, I am a new guy here, but the site seems to have a ton of knowledge on it. my current ride as it sits

But I'm looking to go to a street strip mustang. any advice on what I should look for/ stay away from? I'm thinking fox body '87-'93 with a sbf/c4 combo

Stay away from the fords and buy a chevy, LOL but as you can tell by my user name I maybe a little bias, ROFL
 
I'd say look out of state and make a trip for one. Also try to find one Built and close to what you want. It will be much easier on the wallet ;)You can find nice clean ones in MI you just usually end up paying top dollar for them.
 
Welcome!:buds:As far as the car be patient......It took me almost 5 months to find a clean one that I liked.
 
Since I can't post in the for sale section yet, WTB '87-'93 notch, roller or turn key, I'm not a body guy so good body is imperative, I can do mech work.

HA! This from a guy who's handle is short for "Can't Conceive Buying Chevy"!

There are lots of Fox body people, parts, and knowledge here. Best advise is look down South for a car with the kind of mods you're looking for. Unless you WANT to do it yourself! Then I'd still find a Southern car. Lots of good ones out there. Welcome!!!
