rear view...it's hard taking a car with 2x the power...especially a turbo car on the freeway:angel:

With the limiter removed the M5/6 will pass 200mph. So a modified one from a roll is in it's prime, especially on the highway.

When I ran my 360rwhp WS6 against my buddy's E39 M5 (header back, intake, minor tune), we were dead even from 3rd through 4th, when we shifted into 5th he instantly jumped one car length and started to run away.

The M6 hovers around the $100K mark, makes 500 HP @ 7750 RPM and 383 TQ @ 6100 RPM.

The Z06 costs about $75K, makes 505 HP @ 6300 RPM and 470 TQ @ 4800 RPM.

I like that the BMW can hold 4 people, I like having a backseat. But not $25K much.

An M5 has similer performance and 4 doors...... for 25k less. Its actually a hard compairison to make. A Z06 to an M5, They are so diffrent, but very cool for the same reasons. It would be a sweet nice day/everyday combo to own.

I like that is all-around fun to drive shit, not just fast. Plus it is plushed out. There are some crazy options also, Like active seating and launch control.

Oh don't get me wrong if someone gave me the keys to a beemer i would take it in no time flat...They are just to much $$$ for me. but i guess when you put that much high end stuff in a car you got to make a buck or two off of it somehow.

Agreed on the price. They only way to even get close to cheap is a lease. Ive seen $2400 down $399 a month 335i's or a 525i's Pretty sweet cars, still alot of cashola. I have a few friends that work at Erhard BMW, Deff some sweet stuff in those cars.
