Me, my twin brother, and my buddy Tom (GrandmaLS) build most of the Durahoe. I went to an auto auction and while walking around I seen a rolled silverado and a Tahoe that had an engine fire. I started thinking "hmm, a duramax and a 5.3 both go in a silverado. The 5.3 goes in a Tahoe, so why wouldn't a duramax?" $11,600 later I was proud owner of 2 totaled trucks.....

I have pics and I'll upload them tonight but right now I'm at work.

thats awesome, i have always wanted to do something like that. did you run into a lot of problems or was it a straight forward swap? ill be waiting for pics :headbang:

The swap was pretty straight forward. I had to mod some stuff but nothing major. I jumped the gun with the 6.6 and put in and wanted to go drive it but I had to upgrade the suspension.

I love cults..... When do we get to drink the Kool Aide?
