the tailgates like to corrode!

funny you mention that, I was just going to comment on that. the 03's tailgate I had was TERRIBLE. Even my dad's 05 which he got in 07 had a bubble on that tailgate when he got it. Those tailgates are not cheap either.hmy:

I forget were those 100% aluminum or were they aluminum skins wrapped on steel? Ford does the latter on newwer models and i cant wait to see if they did it right! :lol:

you got me there I thought they were fiberglass over some type of metal core, I've never seen one rust through, only bubble
