new tires on the slow car

Finally got around to throwing on the new rubber and getting the new drivetrain setup in the car (took like a month, lol).

Recently installed:
Tremec T56 03/04 Cobra transmission - 26 spline input shaft (Viper Spec), 30 spline output shaft, Bronze 1-2/3-4/5-6 fork pads, Billet 3-4 slider inserts, Hardened throwout bearing guide tube, Carbon syncro rebuild kit

Spec Stage 3+ Clutch
Lightning Force Aluminum Flywheel (9lbs)
Aluminum Driveshaft
Pro 50 Shifter

Oh, and 17x10.5s with 335/35/17 Hoosier Drag Radials :)

The car is extremely dirty, been up on jackstands for a month. It needs a new paintjob anyway.

Also, the rears are 03 Cobra wheels and the fronts are 99 Cobra wheels. The 03 Cobra wheels that I have for the front are 9" (instead of 8) and have a much better offset so they'll fill out the wheel wells WAY better (and are black like the rears, as many of you know).

Just thought I'd share some updates, its been awhile.

I actually raised the car, it was about an inch lower but I'm getting really sick of denting my oil pan.

I really need to get the black 03s on the front and take some decent pics, these look terrible, lol.

Oh, and the catback is dirty as fuck. I've been thinking about powdercoating it like a black chrome (if possible).

I had 275 Mickeys before so we'll see the difference, hopefully they don't wear as fast as the Mickeys.

That car is bad ass, nice job working with the IRS. I need to do some work to get rid of my wheel hop with my measly 275 street tires at the track. :(

how close is the catback to the tire? looks bad ass..

i know of a STOCK 01 cobra with a ttrim going 11.3 @ 138.

i have never seen a car get so tastefully modified in such a short time! i know you just got a new job, need help?

Haha, I've been contemplating the sticker. There are actually a lot of good guys over there, the older crowd.

The catback is a very comfortable distance of the tire, one of the upsides to running IRS.

That trap is SICK and hes crazy for running a T trim on a stock 01 short block. I'm pushing 10.5psi through an S trim and I'm waiting for it to blow up, lol.

Thank you! I bought the car 100% stock last April and have put WAY too much into it already, lol.

I did get a new job but my work load is really light at the moment. We're on a hiring freeze and they might start cutting back, just like my last job :(

Awesome car with a sick stance!!

I agree about xceed, but I find myself over here more and more. It seems like you have to search to find the good people over there, and here they're in every corner.
 
that is the same set up Im going for. I wanna try the hoosiers, I hated the mt dr's I had in the past. how tall are they? did you roll your quarters?
