We were recently featured in a Mashable article that has been shared over 2200 times! http://mashable.com/2013/06/05/autobike/

And we sold bikes into something like 17 different states and 3 different countries and we just started shipping on May 10th so we've been busy! We are working through details on some international distribution opportunities with companies in Finland, Japan, and Israel. And we're working with four potential OEM partners who will feature our shifting system on their bikes - we've built prototypes for three of them so far and everyone is super psyched about the potential.

We are getting ready to launch a kickstarter project for our commuter bike that we are putting the finishing touches on right now.

I'm gonna have to stop up there. My major concern is my ability to pop wheelies. Ridding a wheelie on my 29er is a lot of fun.

The way this bike is designed and engineered it basically has built in wheelie control. You will be able to launch with no bars and it will stay planted!! So the wheelies will have to stay on the 29er!

I actually asked Sean about that once when I dropped by the shop. They do seal the housing for the electronics to make the bike waterproof.

Are the electronics on these bikes waterproof?
Brad knows his shiz. We've had the bikes in what should have been described as a monsoon with no issues. Well, other than completely soaking the riders and ruining our shoes and everything in our backpacks.

Still a prototype but a little closer to what the production urban road bike will look/feel like.

Nice looking! I'm actually jonsing to try one out one of these days. I got into biking a lot in San Fran (mainly because it's the only way to get anywhere) and picked up a Marin hybrid urban bike. I keep trying to imagine a CVT bike, but my brain isn't working so hot. Everything I have read about your bikes is it really is a must ride to understand and appreciate.

Looks SWEET! I rode one of these at Woodward and was VERY impressed. It rode very well up the hills in the streets behind our lot. The pedal load is adjustable so you pick where you are comfortable. Then it does all the work for you changing ratio's in the rear hub. I pedalled uphill and downhill and it kept right up as I slowed down or picked up speed. The pedal load stayed pretty constant and comfortable.

Sean mentioned they were working on a retrofit kit. I am anxiously awaiting details to update my mountain bike to enjoy riding around the boonies where I reside. ;) 21 gears used to be fun. Now I would just like to ride. Sean, too bad "Set it and Forget it" was probably trademakerd by Ronco with the rotisserie. That would fit this well.
