New Spintech Exhaust!

Short video of the new catback from Spintech (purchased from www.MarylandSpeed.com). The piping is 2.5" and replaces the stock resonator (kind of like a pre-muffler muffler) with an x-pipe. The mufflers themselves are about 1/3 of the stock size and weight, and the tips are 4". I know the tips are not sitting in there right at the moment, but I do plan to take it into a shop to have the hangers heated and bent so they do line up correctly in the cutouts. Again, this is on an otherwise stock GTO...no headers or catless mids...nothing but this exhaust.
Also, the sound from the inside is much more subdued than it sounds on this video. Frankly, I was kind of shocked when I watched the video for the first time. Inside the car the exhaust sounds almost too quiet lol. There is very little drone, and only at certain RPM ranges, like around 1500 and around 2500. From 2500 to about 4500 you can barely even hear the exhaust from inside the car...it's kind of strange. I love it though!

Sounds great! I've always loved Spintech mufflers. Can't understand why they're not widely used, they're still better than Flowmasters for power. Heck, I ran open headers back to back with a full 4" single Spintech exhaust and didn't lose any mph whatsoever. Ah well, I kinda like that no one has them.
