These are some quick shots with my phone but it's a 89 LX auto. STock right down to the cats. The guy before me was in the middle of a carb conversion but had a baby and now it's my problem. Body needs a tad work and so does the suspension and I want to get the running for now until I finish building my 351W. One small hole of rust in the floor and the rest of the body is good. (except for the hatch)

Yesterday I replaced the rusted out hatch with another one from my old 87 GT and slapped on the Saleen wing. Hard to see in the dark. I will get a few more. Soon the sanding and priming will begin!

Well i"m already workin on it. Ripped off the bad hatch and put a new one on with the saleen wing. Started tearing the motor apart to see what I could use. Everything looks great so far. I'm ripping everything out and starting over and I changed my mind to do a EFI 351W. THe engine bay is going to be repainted. Here are some pics. This was a 600 dollar buy. A steal if you ask me. Very solid body, barely any rust and still clean/good glass.PLUS a motor and trans. Great donor parts. I will be selling off all the carb stuff for EFI stuff instead.

If I was you I would check the outside of the spot were the k member bolts in. Just from the pic of the engine bay picture it looks like you might have some rust on the outside in that spot. I have ran into that twice.
