New ride for a while

Finally got the passenger side O2 sensor replaced. Only had to wrestle the manifold out :(

It was really seized up. Took a lot of ass to break it free. Also, GM must have been on some major drugs when they designed this system layout. No room for tools/hands etc. I've worked on some ridiculously designed cars but this one pretty much takes the cake.

I also just bought new injectors. One injector is clogged. I can feel it firing but it's not fueling. Fuel Injector Connection sells a set specifically for the 1993 LT1 which flows different than 92 or 94-96.

Washed and Clay barred the paint. Polished it with my new TorqX Chemical Guys wheel and waxed it.

hell yeah. did you use that new speed clay kit? it looks like the clay has a little vessel it sits in instead on your hand/fingers..

I did. I was pretty skeptical but it worked. I did my 2013 F150 with it too (ton of rail dust etc.). It is a big time saver but be careful on dark paint. You don't feel it load up with debris like you do with the clay so if it loads up and you keep on going, you get micro scratches. It's not bad, just a bit different.

Do you have any pictures?

Not much is new, installed some muffler deletes. It sounds pretty good when in the throttle and is tame at idle.

Going to replace the serp belt, air filter, tires, and clean the EGR.

After a fun summer of driving the car, it's now back in the garage for the winter.

The last couple times I took it out I almost had an issue getting the key out of the ignition. The column has the usual C4 wear and tear in the tilt mechanism. I need to pull the column this winter and fix it. From what I've read, it's not tough, just a few hundred bucks and time. It's caused by owners using the steering wheel to get in and out of the car.

theres just a few screws to tighten up 4 to be exact but the first three are the easiest. 4th one you have to remove the pivot I believe, I always skippped that one lol.

This one is bad enough that the hi beams won't turn on. Maybe 1/2' of downward play to the driver side

yeah I’ve had quite a few g body cars with the same problem. Usually tighten the screws and it’s all good, brights run off a metal rod in the column that’s out of alignment with the loose screws.
