I don't think radar/laser detectors even work anymore. I had no luck with the ones I've had.

i picked up a V1 last week and so far its let me know of 3 cops that were sittin prone all about a mile in advance. Enough to make me a believer. So far every Cop has been using Ka band though

The V1 is great. I've had mine for 7 years now. Works like a charm. But certainly, if you get hit with laser, and your detector goes off, V1 or otherwise, you're toast.

have you ever been hit with laser? mine goes off crazy in downtown Ferndale for some reason, but ive never seen a cop.

Im not using mine to get away with speeding though. I just use to keep me alert and let me know where cops are hiding. the arrows are nice with that respect. its nice passing a street and knowing hes now past you

Yep, on I-75 and 14 Mile. Troy Camaro Cop. I was doing 75mph. He didnt blink
