i love denard robinson but the fact is, he can't throw the ball well enough to be a qb. i would bet money that if deven gardner had the first team reps for one week he would be more suited to the kind of offense we need to run in the big ten. this game should have been ours to win but the fact that we are so one demensional killed us. i'm done.
 
I've been saying for 1 1\2 years now. He has natural talent as a running back, but thats all. You can give the ball to just about anyone and get the same kind of production that Denard gives us. Put Gardner in as quarter back, and use Denard as an extra running back, or even a short catch reciever.

I don't care how many more games we win this year. We lost to state, and Ohio state isn't the same team as years past. I don't want to beat them unless there at there best, and that's not this year. Let's get the quarter back in there thats going to take us into the next few years and build his expierence and find out out if we need to get a better quarter back.

I would agree that Gardner would be a better QB. Robinson needs to be a 'slash' type player.It better utilizes both players.
 
All Michigan fans who think Denard should be a running back are idiots, plain and simple. I would LOVE to watch him try and line up in a off-set I formation and run between the tackles. LOL he would get his head lobbed off. The reason he can run the ball good is they spread out the field and he can exploit that with his explosive speed.

Also Its funny this thread comes up after Michigans only loss, how come you didnt make this thread after the Notre Dame game???? Oh yeah because he won the game!
 
Actually, in the football thread it was brought up many times. He just didn't read that thread.
