So I've been contemplating cutting up the camaro for a while but then decided it was too nice so after searching for a while this is what i picked up...

1971 vega (roller). The work was done some time ago and will need some updating but its a good start. In the next few weeks I will be dropping in a BBC chevy and a powerglide. Hope to see some track time before the end of the season. Let me know what you guys think

looks pretty good. do you think itll hook with that small tire out back though? lol. youll have fun with it. is it orange or red?

I had a '72 Vega 331 SBC, 12 bolt and T400 trans. We used to terrorize the
Ortonville and Clarkston area streets back in the late 70's.

nice. plus, next to the motor wheel fly, it's got the baddest ass wheels ever made. vintage super tricks. the 70's status symbol.......

Hey guys thanks for all the positive comments. Yeah I've always loved vegas too! The car does look red in a couple pics but its orange.

As for the motor for now it's going to be set up with 454, 10.5:1 compression, forged internals, large rect port heads and 550 lift cam. All backed by a powerglide & maybe a procharger or vortech for next season...

If I can sell my motorcycle (2005 gsxr 750 stunt bike) it'll get some aluminum heads. I just picked up the trans it is a BTE Racing Powerglide w/protree brake rated at 1000 hp so that'll leave some doors open.

It is a full chassis car with aluminum floor and firewall with a small block and driver it weighed in @ 2200lbs so it shouldn't take too much to get this thing moving:thumbsup:
