I had a great time today hanging out with all the Motown Muscle guys at the 1320x event at Milan!

Well, after all the frustration, it seems to finally be going in the right direction.

Here's the timeslip (I'm framing it:icon_wink)

60ft. -----------1.46
330ft. --------- 4.00
1/8 mile - ------6.125
1/8 MPH ------ 115.43
1000ft. -------- 7.96
1000ft. MPH --- 131.96
1/4 mile ET -----9.54
1/4 MPH ------- 144.33

Car was really rich all the way through third gear (that's when I was able to actually glance at the A/F guage)... I saw 10.3 a/f on the gauge all the way through third to the end of the run. So, I know there is power to be had in just leaning it up a bit.

Car would only leave with 7-8lbs of boost on the transbrake and two-step. Converter is awesome, but a bit tight downstairs. We're already plannning how we will raise the boost pressure on the line. If I can get out of the gate with about 15lbs. I know the car will be knocking on low-9s.

Again, big thanks to Sean @ C.A.R.S. in Waterford, as well as my buddy Greg (gpowrie). Both of these guys have helped me a ton! Also, thanks to Joe Duke (Duke) for his help on all the wiring done to the car!

Congrats Dan! Great pass. No problems with the AOD?

I really couldn't be happier with this transmission. With the Lentech valvebody it shifts rock solid, with the 10.5inch converter it hardly ever goes above 160 on the street and it has overdrive, too!

Sean did a great job building this thing.

Of course, the tuner/builder guy, suspension guy,and wiring guy gets all the love (lol). That's a great run!!! :specool: Congratulations to the entire bunch!!!!

Mike.

You know I love you, Mike! Wish you were there, man. We need to see what we can do about getting the converter just a tad looser on the bottom end.

Then you'll get some love:seizure:

Dan

You always have the 9.5!!!! J/K:seizure:

I said a TAD looser!

BTW, there was a guy talking to Sean last night about building him an AOD after he saw my car go down the track. You'll be glad to know that I was pushing him your way for a converter! The guy is an engineer at Ford and is looking to build a turbo street car with a nicely built AOD in it.

He might not appreciate the fact that the converter core is a GM :pimp2:
