well as some might know my trans swap(TH-400) (with gear vendors)and my TIGHT convertor, has sorta pissed me off with some motor and spray times at the last rental i went to...i had ,not enough fuel problems with the carb, had to go 2 jet sizes bigger, pulled timing out blah, blah, blah
so at norwalk i did everything I could thing of right..put 110 oct. in, set the timing where a SBC should be, and borrowed some skinnies(thanks 85camaro) and of corse had a air/fuel meter hooked up(thanks 1bad86z) and put brand new plugng in after another 13.0 BS pass. then i went 2 12.7xx@ like 106/7 ish...which i think thats where i was last year with the old TH350 and B&M2800-3200 stall. so i was happy there. then what really made my day was i put the 180hp pills in,pulled the min. of timing out, and went a [email protected] I also did another 11.2xx pass, but i lost the slip,(which was faster than my time last year with the 180 pills,11.5xx i think) so that was awesome...then i warmed the bottle up a bit more..and went..well heres the full slip
R/T....658
60'...1.582

A ten sec slip is only a smaller fuel jet away! Congrats Jack!

Congrats on the PB. Norwalk was awesome. I'm surprised more people didn't come out and get new PB's.
