So what is the deal with this shirt?? I assume it is no longer going to be made since the link to it is bad now. It used to be on the website (as of yesterday) but isn't any more.

I'm guessing all kinds of copyright/logo infringement from both Michigan State University and Made in Detroit clothing (if it wasn't an actual M.I.D. shirt)
I'm pretty sure you can't trade mark a phrase like Made in Detroit and stop it from being produce, that spartan isn't the actual image of MSU, do I don't see how legally you could be in trouble producing it.
Made in Detroit is an established brand name...
The phrase "Like a Rock" existed before Bob Seger wrote the song and before Chevy used it in advertisements.... but try using it to sell something now. There are courts that rule on these sort of things, but "Like a Rock" is pretty much property of Bob Seger and Chevy
As far as the Spartan image goes... they're putting East Lansing, a Spartan, and Go Green Go White all on the same shirt. It's pretty clear that they are attempting to make money by selling a Michigan State product without permission to use the school's logo or "likeness"
