New law - carry a tazer

If u are gonna have a cpl just carry a pistol. Tazers arn't all they are cracked up to be. Besides u only have one shot!

I'm sure there are plenty of people not comfortable with carrying a gun but would feel better about carrying a weapon that doesn't typically kill someone.

Speaking with someone who has carried both for years, criminals usually have more respect for a tazer because they know someone is more prone to use it. With that said never bring a tazer to a gun fight.

I am going to try and get me wife to get one, she does not want to carry a pistol because she says she knows she has a temper and dont want to get upset and do something stupid, but I worry when she is out mountain biking by herself so this would giver her some defense.

Since it's not lethal, I can see some people pulling these out and using them before all other means are exhausted.

Yep exactly... I think your gonna get a lot of DUMBASS people, mainly scared women who are going to engage their tazer too soon. I can see situations arising where someone who is super paranoid tazes someone, and then they end up getting shot or the shit kicked out of them.

I can see a lot of chicks using these on drunk guys who don't take "no" for an answer. It could be entertaining for the rest of us.

Glad this passed. My sis wanted to get a tazer for some time, because she isn't comfortable with carrying a handgun. Time to go shopping.

Make sure you read the law. According to the article, you need a CPL and need to take a taser class on order to carry one.

I need to get on it and take the cpl course I paid for. The sad thing is it's going to cost me more to get it from the state than the actual class :(

Without asking a lawyer I would say no. But unless it's illegal then it's.....legal?

This. Unfortunately, not every one sees it that way. Especially not the police. They're ring you up for disturbing the police or some BS.
