Golden Bronze Metallic. Nice choice sir. That's a bad ass ride. 35% tint on the front doors would look amazing.

Nice looking truck!

Good looking truck!! Is it me or is the front cover way off color?
The metallic in the paint is probably laying in different directions so you get a different reflection. My guess is they did not plan ahead for that in their fixturing of the components so the finished product looks even..... Or maybe it is way off. That would be covered under warranty.

It does look that way in the pic, I think its the way the light is hitting it, doesn't look a different shade in person, man you obviously have an eye for that stuff

If I were to walk out on the lot right now, I'd say 1 in 20 bumper covers MAYBE will match. I don't know what they can't figure out about it but it is bad.

Aside from that, nice truck. Looks real nice, The new F150's drive like no other truck too.

Well there are several reasons that bumper covers & other trim pieces don't match
A) Paint process of body is electrostatic rotational bell applicator, that increases transfer efficiency to nearly 85%, covers & other misc parts are sprayed at a Tier supplier using a traditional air atomized gun which usually causes a lightness/darkness difference(every paint supplier is fully aware)
B) Tier suppliers are not required to use the same paint supplier or similar material, OEM could be waterborne & supplier could be solvent or vice versa, which then leads to formula differences among suppliers.
C) Supplier are usually supposed to be within 1 Delta E (color) but many times the Xrite machine is tricked to make qouta #'s

GreenTrunk - If the color is off and your not happy, I'm pretty sure the dealer would take care of it!! But I love that color and the truck looks great!!

I used to work at a supplier here in marysville, and they didn't let us get even the slightest bit off of the color chips and we were repainting, And that was just for reverse sensors. I would imagine quality control on bumpers could be a little better lol.

And actually from the information I have gathered the bumpers are actually the correct color and thay have been having issues with the color on the body, If there is any truth to that I can't be completly sure tho.

Looks like it's just the way the sun is hitting it to me.

BTW here at Varsity Ford all our bumpers match  J/K

Lol I'd be willing to bet other wise, It actually seems like they have fixed the problem some from the ones we were gettin in early to mid summer don't see as much problem. Not as bad as GM tho, They actually put out a tsb on malibus 2 summers ago for bumper match issues.

It was a joke, he didn't buy it from me. I'm fucking with him.

I'm aware of that. *note the (lol) at the beginning of the post. Easy Killer. I'm just a lowly Assistant Bodyshop manager... no need to get worked up

I never get worked up, I'm calm and level headed. It's the Lions that get worked up.......or is that out?
