New Chevy SS

so....tax payers bail out GM, so GM builds a badass car for Americans, but dont use American workers? and its Imported....LOL. Im sure that will go over well.

It was actually built for Australians, rebadged, and then sent over here. Nice try, but you couldn't be more wrong.

I like it, The G8 was one of the best cars ever built with a GM logo on it

cool G8 used car market prices will be lower, good bang for buck

I like it but not as much as the G8 at least in regards to appearance. I was expecting some sort of a powertrain upgrade over the G8.I've heard that production will shift to the US after a couple years. American RWD sedans are a dying breed so I'm just glad its going to be sold here.

Tin, now that we know the Camaro is slotted to be built in Lansing rather than Canada, I wonder how that shifts things around.

They should have never stopped selling the G8, but it's good they're bringing it back in many ways.

It's going to raise the price.... Lol

Its called an opinion...don't get your panties all in a bunch.

All you did was cut down GM...............Lets start talking about how Roush sends all or most of Fords plastic injection molds over to China to be biult.......Ford approves it because Roush can`t keep up with the work load..........Whats wrong with Michigan mold shops that are hurting ?......yes i did molds at Roush for over 4 years........fuck Ford and Roush...

Back to topic, I think the car looks great! I'd do someting about the big plastic piece in the grill, not sure what, but other then that it looks like a pretty sweet ride. I'v heard talk this is going to end up in Lansing for production but I've heard that about the Camaro as well. Who knows, we'll see.

I doubt this will end up being produced in Lansing.

The SS is a short wheel base zeta sedan. The Caprice is the lo.g wheel base zeta. VE, VF, whatever, it is all still the same gen of the same platform

Its ok, but I dont like it as much as I hoped I would.

I've had the G8 GT on the short list of replacements for my DD once my Acura finally is put out to pasture, so I was really happy to see a replacement. I like the styling of the G8 GT better so far, and for half the price I'd just get one of those. The SHO used is a pretty awesome deal too, just not sure if I like the FWD bias.

Looks really nice....
Its all going to depend on how its priced.

If they keep it good and low....say 33K they will probably sell well and pull saled from the Charger and 300
