yea tell me about it , i just got back from o reilys and got codes p0733 and p0734 , the guy eraced the codes for me but they came back instantly when i put it in gear and tried to take off

incorrect gear ratio 3rd gear and 4th gear

now the car is acting like its low on fluid and revs high to engage the gear and slipps and bucks around while being stuck in 3rd gear

Usually a Diagnosis is 65 to 90 bucks...then buy parts. Matts Auto next to Van Born Auto parts will do diagnostics and be very honest about it.

just called him , he doesnt have the diognostics for chrysler ,., he did spend some time telling me that the TCM likes to take a shit on these , wich sucks because id have to take it to the dealer to get the new TCM reprogramed
 
found a sticker under the hood saying the PCM was replaced 6-14-10 ,., i noticed the trans fluid is extremely clean , im wondering if the PO didnt use the wrong ATF fluid instead of the ATF+4 this car is supose to use , think that would have to do with anything ?

thanks for the offer but im not sure what the hell im going to do yet , the cheapest route i could go is right around 900-1000bucks to get a used trans and have a shop install it ( hard part is finding a trans , they only made them for 2 years ) , i just realy dont have that kinda cash on hand to blow ( stupid mustang tapped into most of my funds and i didnt get much out of it when i sold her ) , and if i sold the new car id be lucky to get 1200 out of it as it sits .,. guy i bought the car off of lied to me when i asked him if he ever did anything to the trans , he said no and i found papers under the seat just now saying the trans was long over do for a service and flush ( car now has nice clear red fluid in it ) so chances are he knew something was up

Geeze, you have the worst luck! I don't even wanna know what you gave that car away for! Just figured i'd offer to help bridge the gap of transporting a trans if you needed.

had right around 5k invested in the mustang and had one hell of a time squeezing 2700bucks out from the guy who bought it .,. my luck does suck lately

car just needed some tinkering to , i just got tired of putting money into it , all the hard stuff was done , i really miss that car right about now lol
