New Camaro Convertible

Well, almost. I wish it was a convertible :crap:

Saw this car today on 8 Mile Road while I was running errands. I know it was the first 5th gen Camaro with a Landau roof I've seen yet, hopefully the last. At least it was a v6 :haha:

At least paint the shark fin to match...

speaking of convertible camaros, have they shown any of the preproductions ones yet? Im curious to see how they look with the top up. those body lines around the rear window arent gonna look right at all with the top down
 
100% fail.

I feel like this will be out like the TBSS this summer...every guy who can get one will and they will be all over the streets, I like not seeing my ride all the time. Glad my SS is not mass produced like GM is doing the SS's now.
 
I saw a black on black Camaro convertible two weeks ago, I didn't get a change to try & snap a photo of it. It was being followed closely by another new Camaro with a large radio antenna on the back. Could not see if it was a manufacturers plate on the back of either car.

The current SS production is no different that the Z28 was in the previous generations.

There are a few around town right now. There were pictures of Silver cars in Australia late last year as well.

1994-96 Impala SS were factory made
2003-2006 Silverado SS's were assembled at W2W
2005-?? TBSS were factory made
Malibu Maxx SS Factory line
Camaro SS factory made
Camaro Z28 might be produced limited enuff to make it cooler but you could build a better one than the Z28

At least Mustang guys know they are all over :)

Are you sure the Silverado SS was made at W2W and not produced on the line by GM?

GM cut back on the SS usage a few years ago, this is old hat :D

They were made in canada on the line, they were then shipped to TechStar for the intallation of the cladding. Before the closed I had a cool pic of all the silverado SS's sitting there getting put together.

I have seen a few camaro ss's and KNOW this summer I will see too many. I know they will be hot in the hood :)
 
.....so who is gonna be the first person to do a t-top conversion ?

i would love a 40K car that needs weather striping. from the factory lol
