New C&L Mass Air Meter (Price Drop)
(UP DATE>>>SOLD<SOLD)
I have a 76MM C&L (Fox Body) Mass Air meter "Housing Only". Meter is brand new in the box. Selling to swap over to another brand my tuner prefers to use instead so bought a new one. Listed price on C&L website for 76mm MAF unit for 86-93 Mustang 5.0 42lb Injectors is $169.00 for housing and $32 calibration tube = $201.00. This is the housing only (See their website), you will need to add the calibration tube to your choice of injectors and sensor part.
MY PRICE: $50.00 Firm.
(From C&L Website)
Owners of fox body Mustang vehicles who want to maintain their original inlet plumbing or use another manufacturers inlet pipe have two choices when it comes to upgrading their factory mass airflow unit. We offer both 73mm and 76mm units by themselves, and they both deliver a noticeable improvement in performance on both stock and modified 5.0 Mustang vehicles. The factory 55mm unit on these vehicles flows 550 cfm and is actually 5mm smaller than the stock throttle body. The 73mm unit flows 700 cfm and the 76mm flows nearly 800 cfm, and they are both direct fit replacements for the factory 55mm unit.
Dyno testing by us, our distributors and the major magazines have shown that by replacing the stock unit with one of our 73mm units, you can expect 8 more rear wheel horsepower and as much as 11 additional rear wheel horsepower when installing our 76mm unit. The difference in performance is not primarily due to the increase in airflow, but rather through a slightly more refined calibration. The original 73mm units calibration was developed using flowbench and track test data.
When the 76mm unit was developed, we decided to focus our calibration testing on the dyno, and this allowed us to find 2-3 more horsepower by fine-tuning the air/fuel ratio even further. The 73mm unit has been used on vehicles that run low to mid-10's in the quarter mile and generate as much as 600 rear wheel horsepower on the dyno. The 76mm unit will support the airflow needs of a 9 second quarter mile vehicle and will supply air to engines generating up to nearly 800 horsepower.
