New addition to the family yields a new car...

What's up everyone? I thought I would share my recent additions to the family with you guys.

On 2/3/2012, my wife gave birth to our beautiful baby girl. Born 6 weeks pre-mature, she was in the NICU for two weeks. This was a little painful for us to witness but with god's will and the nurses scrutiny, she was able to make it home healthy a few later. Now she has been home for about a month and caring for a pre-mature is NOT easy (or any child I am sure). To make a long story short, I thought I would reward myself with a present for being such a good (and patient) parent..

As some of you may know, I recently sold my modded GTR (BTW, check out this link that reviews 'my' GTR. 10:50 - 10:30 sec mark is pretty damn funny, lol)

and picked up a 'new' LP560. I really missed my first Gallardo and have wanted to replace it with the 560 for a while. My first impression of the car is that it's SLOWWW (relatively speaking) and a little overwhelming to drive (the attention is overbearing - which I was fully aware of prior to purchase) but I really do enjoy many other aspects of the car (particularly the looks, sound, and interior). While the performance does feel anemic to me, I know that can always be changed with a TT kit - so I am not too worried about it.

I know a lot of people on this site, but I don't know you by face. So if you ever see me around, make sure to say hello. =)

Here are some pics of the two new additions to the family...=)

Congrats on the daughter. My nephew was at least 6 weeks early and spent over a month in the NICU. By the time he was about 3 he had pretty much caught up with the other kids his age. He's almost 5 now and you'd never know that he was a preemie. It's hard when they're that little and helpless but they're tough and will grow in their own time.

Oh, and nice Lambo too. It looks good in white.

Congrats!

Thanks.

Congrats on both. That video calls it right about beating the crap out of cars. I remember your Z06 lol.

Hehe. Thanks man.

Congrats!!!

Thanks.

Congrats on the healthy baby and the new car! I am extremely jealous of both!

Thanks Baldie. We have yet to meet up. Hopefully this summer. But I don't have anything for you this time around, lol.

Thank you!

Ya, the tough part is the around the clock feeding. Every 2.5 hours they start fussiing and grunting for food. By the time you feed them, burp them, and then change them, it is almost time to eat again and there goes your sleep. Next thing you know you it's time to go to work and feel like a zombie.

It's not easy, at all! But well worth it and I am looking forward to her getting a little bigger for more interaction.

Thanks, Kammi. I was gonna pull the trigger on a Black car but decided to try Pearl white especially since I have never owned a White car before.

Fadi, nice to see you back in a lambo, I always did like that TT orange one you had. Congrats on this kid!

BTW- I finally supercharged the Z :)

I'm glad to hear your baby is home now and your wife is doing well too. And the car looks awesome. Congrats on all of the above.

Congrats on both man.

I'm a pretty big name over on xceed but don't think I've ever met you.

Sounds like you should have your hands full but in the end both should be worth it.
